Our Story
More than 230 years ago, a traditional thatched farmhouse was built on the hills above Ptuj. Today, Herberstein House continues to tell its story.
Once a humble vineyard cottage, it has become a place where heritage, nature and authentic rural life come together.
Stadtberg Estate combines historic buildings, vineyard stays, sleeping on hay, farm animals and local flavours from the Styrian countryside.
This is not simply accommodation – it is a place where time slows down.

A more than 230-year-old traditional half-timbered farmhouse and former vineyard cottage beneath a thatched roof.
